As Christian adults, Horizon Singles are committed to reach other singles in our Church and in our community. They desire to encourage each other, form friendships, and find contentment and enjoyment in their daily lives. They strive to be faithful and grow more like Christ by studying His Word, praying, and ministering in the Church body. Once a month the Singles of Horizon meet for lunch after the second service.

Additionally, the Singles department hosts one major “Singles Offering Fellowship Activities – S.O.F.A.” event each month. S.O.F.A. events are for everyone at Horizon; they are not just for singles. They include a Chili Cook-Off, Talent Show, Bowling, Camping Trip, Picnic in the Park, Outdoor Movie Night, Roller Skating, Ice Cream Social and other enjoyable activities.

We provide a safe environment for singles to grow spiritually, personally, and socially while establishing healthy, Christ-centered relationships. They conduct themselves in the light of Christ’s own spirit. The Singles department has a strong Leadership Team which meets once a month to continue to provide opportunities on a regular basis for fellowship and fun.
